The Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre (FIDReC) is an independent and impartial Alternative Dispute Resolution institution. It is the premier centre specialising in the resolution of financial disputes between consumers and financial institutions. We are looking for a Corporate Communications Executive to strengthen FIDReC’s corporate reputation and brand presence through clear, effective and audience-focused communication.
This role supports both external and internal communication efforts, including media and public relations, corporate messaging, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, brand governance and CSR initiatives. The successful candidate will help communicate FIDReC’s role, services, initiatives and values to a range of audiences, including consumers, financial institutions, the media and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Create clear, accurate and audience-focused content, including corporate announcements, speeches, talking points, website content, presentations, videos, infographics, thought leadership articles and other communication materials.
Work closely with senior management and internal stakeholders to ensure messages are aligned with FIDReC’s mission and values and are delivered in a consistent tone and style.
Review communication materials and outputs to ensure consistency, quality, accuracy and alignment with FIDReC’s corporate identity and reputation.
Support media and public relations efforts by working with appointed PR partners and coordinating interviews and media opportunities where required.
Support the planning and implementation of stakeholder engagement initiatives, outreach events, corporate events and CSR-related activities, including liaising with external organisations where appropriate.
Partner with relevant teams to drive the effective use of internal and external communication platforms, including the intranet and corporate website, and ensure information is accurate, current and well-presented.
Manage the communications mailbox, including monitoring enquiries, coordinating responses with relevant internal stakeholders, tracking follow-ups and ensuring timely, accurate and professional communication.
Undertake any other duties or projects assigned by Management or the Supervisor.
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations or content development. Experience in the financial services or dispute resolution sector would be an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
Experience in developing content across multiple channels, including digital platforms, presentations, speeches, internal communications and external communications materials.
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
Resourceful and self-driven, with a positive attitude and an agile mindset.
Strong analytical skills, project management, organisational and multitasking skills.
Experience in supporting senior leadership communications or stakeholder engagement is an advantage.
Competent in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Canva and other commonly used content creation, design and productivity tools. Experience with video editing and multimedia content creation will be an advantage.
